Susan Echard is a hands-on finance executive with over 30 years of experience focused on SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions, system implementations, and process reengineering.
After graduating from the University of Michigan, Ms. Echard worked for Ernst & Young in San Diego, and then went on to specialize in SEC filings, working as the Director of External Reporting for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Tupperware, PetsMart, and CSK Auto. In 2007, Ms. Echard became the VP Worldwide Controller for Lumension Security, a global endpoint security software company, where she was involved in the acquisition and integration of three software companies, as well as accounting, budgeting and expense reporting system implementations that streamlined operations to accommodate business growth. In 2014, after Lumension Security was successfully sold, Ms. Echard became the Corporate Controller for AFS Technologies, a global SAAS ERP software for the food and beverage industry. At AFS, Ms. Echard focused on the accounting and reporting related to the company's recapitalization transaction, as well as acquisitions and integrations of software companies acquired in Slovakia and China. From 2015 to 2016, Ms. Echard was the Corporate Controller at BeyondTrust Software, a global cyber security software company, where she implemented new accounting software that consolidated three systems, resulting in improved efficiencies and reporting.
In June 2016, Susan joined the team at Datashield as the Chief Financial Officer, where she is responsible for the accounting and finance activities, as well as process reengineering to align the infrastructure to accommodate the company's tremendous growth.
